I wanted the red beacon to also be a low intensity nav/night light for the field.

My New Favorite Flashlight!

I love this little guy! I've been testing and reviewing a few of these flashlights lately and this might be my new favorite out of all of them. I have a bunch of 18650 batteries laying around so that's also a plus for this flashlight.

A lot of these flashlight companies claim "9000 lumens" or some exaggerated number. This one states it is 1400 lumens, and while I don't have a way to test the light output, I'm betting it's pretty close to 1400. (Take my word for it... don't look directly into it while it's on full power. I did it on accident and this thing is so bright, my eyes hurt and were watering for 10 minutes after.)

I don't mind the controls and mode switching on this flashlight. It's easy to use one handed and perfect to clip onto a shirt too. I haven't owned a 90 degree angle flashlight before, but I might even like it better than a regular flashlight? It seems way more versatile.

Now onto the value for money: I gotta admit, this flashlight is a little pricey, but there are others that I've tested around $50 and they aren't even half as good as the Nextorch P10 in my opinion.

I'd definitely recommend this light. I'm pretty sure it has everything I'll ever need in a flashlight. ——This is a real review from Amazon.

Decent right angle light with beacon features.

This is my first Nextorch as well as my first full sized right angle light so I was pretty excited to try this out. The kit comes nicely packaged with clear, concise graphics and specs on the box. Inside you of course have the light, a USB rechargeable 18650 cell, instructions, a short USB cable and 2 spare O-rings.
The pocket clip appears stout and strong and the bottom threads are very smooth when inserting the battery. There is a very light knurling in the midsection of the body. The base is flat and unfortunately not magnetic, which is a bit of a letdown at this price point

Its unfortunate to see strobe in the main sequence and I do wish it had a single lumen or less moonlight mode. However the P10 to me seems to be more of a hiking, backpacking type light so I can understand the strobe being there, I just wish it was accessed outside of the regular modes.

All in all this is a pretty decent right angle light from Nextorch. It lacks a few features I would have liked to see but the beacon modes make it a nice choice for camping, hunting, emergency or even general use. ——This is a real review from Amazon.
