It’s easily five stars!
Truthfully, there are a lot of good flashlight makers out there, and I have to say that there is another reputable company that I have bought lights from that I really trust. On this occasion I was looking at a serious flashlight for work, a duty light in fact. As much as I love the other company, when it comes to lights to stake my life on, there is no better consideration than Nextorch!

The TA30C MAX is a very serious light that does may not be the most esthetically pleasing to the eye, but it’s a very serious tool, for very serious use. The construction and build quality are first rate, top of the line, and will make for a forever flashlight if there is one. The user interface could not be more straight forward, and the amount of lumens give an effective mix of throw and spill, that will meet any challenge the user could encounter. I like the anti-roll design built into the flashlight, and it factored into why I chose it over the other option that I considered, and while that other light had a longer throw, the TA30C MAX has all the throw a person is going to realistically need, while proving superior aspects of use. I also like how the D-ring makes it a highly ergonomic as it has an intuitive point of aim for putting the hotspot directly on whatever object or person you need to illuminate.

In the end, it wasn’t a hard choice. I’m a flashlight enthusiast, and I have bought several lights from the other company that is reputable in their own right, but I have bought only from one company for my mom and brother, and if I had to chose just one, it’s going to be Nextorch!
