Smooth operation!

This is a really amazing multitool! Typically multitools at this price point are very lackluster. I was super impressed with how smooth this one is to operate. Tools deploy without a struggle, which is my main criticism with tools in this price range. Everything is very sharp and the pliers are stong. Everything is just so buttery smooth! These would be good for an EMS or first responder. Fantastic deal for this set and it would make a great gift!

Amazing budget tool

I’ve been eyeing some of the higher-end multitools for a while, kind of comparing features and prices, and this one caught my attention mainly because of the scissors. That’s a big deal to me — most multitool scissors are an afterthought, but these are actually usable. They’re larger, have good leverage, and can cut tougher material than the tiny ones you usually get. I tested them on some old rags and even some cloth-type material, and they handled it without me fighting the tool. The ergonomics are good too. It sits well in the hand, so when you’re cutting or using a little more force, it doesn’t feel awkward. The knife blade is sharp, the pliers work the way they should, and all the tools open and function like they’re supposed to — nothing felt cheap or flimsy. I’ve been carrying it daily and it’s held up fine.Honestly, if you’re new to multitools or you don’t want to spend the big money on the “famous” brands, this is a solid way to get a lot of those features without overpaying. Especially if scissors are important to you — that alone makes this one worth a look.

The Everyday Pocket Toolbox That Refuses to Quit

I’ve been carrying this multitool around for about a month now, and it’s already survived more drops than my phone…and handled it with far more dignity. It’s got the usual lineup of tools that make you feel prepared for anything, even though most of us aren’t likely to be sawing through tree limbs in the grocery parking lot anytime soon. What actually matters here is how solid it feels. The clip hasn’t loosened even a little despite daily pocket duty. The knife is easy to access, sharp, and feels every bit as reliable as a dedicated blade. The pliers have great tension, the spring still snaps like day one, and the replaceable wire cutter is a thoughtful touch for when life eventually gets dull. It’s sturdy, no-nonsense, and somehow manages to look like it knows what it’s doing…unlike me half the time. If you want a multitool that works hard, looks sharp, and doesn’t complain about a little abuse, this one earns its keep.

A solid multi-tool with useful scissors

This is a nice multi-tool with scissors that are big enough to actually use. The case is sturdy and straps to your belt with a snap and Velcro. I do like the redundancy here. There isn’t really much frivolous about this tool. I doubt I will ever use the glass breaker or the ruler…The saw and knife are really sharp. I accidentally cut my pinky pretty deep while opening all of the tools to show my wife, oops.We were getting our kitchen cabinets painted so everything was taped/plastic covered. My wife needed the can opener for two cans of tomatoes. I was able to use this can opener with ease to open the cans. I had never used this type of opener before and it worked great. In regards to the reviewer who gave it 4 stars because the scissors wouldn’t close completely, I cannot reproduce this problem. The scissors work great, and do close completely. I provided a picture (silhouette) that shows the scissors closed completely and not making contact with the rest of the tool. Perhaps there is a little inconsistency in their manufacturing and I just received one that is in spec.Overall, I would recommend this muli-tool. It feels sturdy and functional without many useless features.

Very nicely built with tools you'll actually use

I own a lot of multitools and I've been impressed by this one's build quality. It's the largest pair of multitool scissors I've ever used and they are FANTASTIC. The are extremely sharp out of the box and extremely effective at cutting anything. My test is always paracord because cheap scissors can't cut it well, and these eat paracord for breakfast. You can cleanly cut tiny little sections off, even using the tip of the scissors. They have basically no flex; the scissors won't seperate and catch stuff in between the blades. The are spring loaded and very comfortable. The spring for the scissors is captive inside the mechanism, so the spring won't pop out/over like it does on most multitools. I've never had to grip them tightly because they always cut whatever I'm testing, but you COULD and they'd be fine.I didn't notice until receiving them that the pliers are also spring-loaded! It's something we forget about until we use them and remember how nice it is. It's way more pleasant to use for tightening or loosening things since you don't have to adjust your grip at all. The tolerances of the pliers is perfect and the tip meets exactly where you'd won't it to. Also the cutters reach all the way back to the pivot, unlike certain brands, meaning the wire won't get caught and cut halfway. They work perfectly. The saw is locking and correctly tapered, so it works as well as a Signal's. The line cutter is extremely sharp with a 2D Phillips at the end which works fine. The can opener also is sharp enough to be effective out of the box. The flathead on the bottle opener is good but quite wide. All of the tools are very sturdy without play. The sheepsfoot blade is surprisingly large and also very sharp out of the box. It locks securely with a liner lock and can be deployed one-handed. I actually haven't used the knife as much as usual since the scissors are so good.I really love this tool and didn't realize how useful a large pair of scissors were until I started carrying this. It's nice and thin but a bit wider than average, with about the same weight as other multitools. If you like the tradeoff of having less tools but better versions of the tools used most commonly, this is a GREAT option and the price is incredible for the quality of this tool.

I got this to carry with me to small jobs and camping.. Build quality is strong. The pliers lock up tight and wire cutter cuts clean. The big scissors can even cut cloth and cardboards.. Knife blade came sharp.Pros:Strong Pliers and clean wire cutterLarge scissors cut very wellKnife holds a decent working edgeSolid LocksEasy to carryCons:Saw is mediocreHandle edges can dig into hard with hard useHeavyOverall : Well made multitool with useful tools. Good value if you accept the weight and minor comfort things

great multitool, even if you are left handed!

I just had this Nextorch multitool arrive minutes ago, but had to quickly write this review as my mind was pretty blown away… the scissors on this multitool work great, Left Handed! This might not seem like much to boast about, but if you are left handed, you know exactly what I mean. 99% of scissors are designed for right handed people. Over the years I’ve gotten numb to the awkwardness and pain of distorting my fingers to use a regular pair of scissors. When I use a multitool or swiss army knife’s scissors, I expect my fingers to scream in pain as they are half mangled and pinched trying to use the tool. This wasn’t the case for the Nextorch multitool. Thank you for making an ambidextrous tool!

Solid, Versatile, and Well-Built Multitool

This multitool feels solid and is ready to use right out of the box. The stainless steel build gives it a sturdy, reliable feel, and all of the components open and close smoothly. The first few times opening the components was a bit more difficult, and it was really hard to get the saw out at first… but after a few times of opening and closing it seemed to loosen up a bit. The pliers and scissors are the standouts. They’re bigger and stronger than on the other multitool I’ve tried, which makes them pretty useful for daily tasks, not just as something I need to try in a pinch. The pocket knife was ok, but I ended up sharpening it more after the first use. The variety of tools (screwdrivers, bottle opener, etc.) covers pretty much everything you’d need for camping, hiking, or quick fixes around the house. I also like that it folds down compactly and isn’t too heavy. I was actually surprised by how small it folds down. This is a well-designed multitool that feels like it can take some abuse and still work well. For someone who wants a compact tool to help with basic tasks around the house, it’s a good buy. I think the price might be a little steep, but if you find it on sale or have a coupon… I’d say it’s a good tool to have around! I imagine it would be helpful while camping too!

Solid, Sharp, and Built to Last

I bought the NEXTORCH 16-in-1 multitool to keep in the console of my truck, and I’m really impressed. Right out of the box, the blades are sharp—no need for any touch-ups. The overall construction feels extremely sturdy, and all of the pivot points are snug with zero wobble, which gives me a lot of confidence in its durability. It comes with a sheath and a belt clip, making it easy to carry and access when needed. The sheath is decent quality, and the clip holds securely without being too bulky. Every tool folds out smoothly but with enough resistance to feel secure during use.Overall, this feels like a multitool that’s going to last a long time. Great value for the build quality—definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable everyday carry or backup tool to leave in your vehicle.

All you need tool right here!

It' been a long time since I owned a multi-tool but I can't remember a more comprehensive one than this. Usually you have to choose one with a needlenose pliers OR one with a real scissors, but this has both, due to some real engineering. This also has the saw blade which if you really had to use to saw wood would take forever, and also the ruler/fish scale. It comes with a variety of openers and screws driver ends which do not need bits (thank goodness). I don't show it in my pictures but there is also a large blade. I think this wopuld especially be a good tool for ocean fishing seeing how it can cut a number of thicknesses for both filament and for wire. Lastly, it comes with an appropriately sized sheath (I hate when they are overly large) that is slim matches the tool well. I think this would be a good gift and comes with a nice box to make things easier.

High quality, and highly functional... the right assortment of "good" usable tools! Zero filler!

The Nextorch MT10 is a popular, well received, multi-tool with a lot of really useful features. First off, I really like that Nextorch is a recognized and respected company that’s been around for a coupe decades, with its own online presence, multiple distribution channels, and a wide range of outdoor, hunting, lighting, and tactical products available worldwide. This gives me confidence that they’ll be around to stand behind the 5 year warranty this multi-tool comes with if I ever need it. As for the tool itself, it feels really good in hand and the manufacturing quality is excellent. The black plated finish is basic, but durable. The knife blade wasn’t the absolute sharpest I’ve tested in a multi-tool, but near the top of the list. It slices cleanly through paper where others snag and shred. The large scissors with spring loaded handle are easy to use and cut exceptionally well. The spring loaded pliers/cutters are also a real pleasure, and perhaps the highlight of this tool. The handle opens smoothly and “snaps” into place with a very positive, solid engagement. Actually, all the tools open/close and lock into place with authority. I found the wire cutters work great on both solid core and stranded wire and like that the blade is replaceable. Another much appreciated feature is the wire stripper integrated into the can opener. It works really well. This multi-tool would be a great choice for electricians. After using this for a while, my impression is that the approach they took with this was to offer a decent assortment of truly usable tools, in usable sizes, with quality, rather than trying to cram as many feature/functions as they could into it just to up the tool count. The more I use it, the more I like it. The belt clip keeps it securely attached to your belt, but I prefer the included carry-sheath that has a velcro strap and snap. It works great with the molle system in my truck. In my option, this is a tool that can hold it’s own against any of the big brand name multi-tools and it’s well worth the asking price.

Solid, high-quality multi-tool with impressive build

As someone new to owning a proper multi-tool, I’m really impressed by the NEXTORCH MT10. The build feels very high quality - the metal is strong, well-polished, and everything snaps together securely with no looseness or wobble. All of the tools lock firmly in place, which gives confidence when using them. The scissors cut cleanly and easily, and both the knife blade and saw blade look very sharp right out of the box. The pliers have a strong grip and don’t flex, which makes them especially useful for tougher tasks. The included carrying case is well-made and durable, with both a button and Velcro strap on the belt loop for extra security. The only minor drawback I’ve noticed is that some of the smaller tools like the bottle opener and flathead screwdriver are a little harder to access, but they still function fine once opened. If I could change one thing, I’d like to see a few more screwdriver options (like Phillips and flathead), but that’s just personal preference.Overall, this is a solid and very versatile multi-tool. It feels durable, reliable, and well thought out. It has quickly earned a spot in my everyday carry.

Versatile and strong

I’ve been looking for a good multi tool that didn't cost me like a hundred bucks and I ended up picking up this Nextorch MT10. I’m pretty impressed with it so far. Most of these things you buy have those tiny little scissors that can’t cut through a wet paper bag but the scissors on this one are actually a usable size. You can actually use them to cut stuff like heavy tape without hurting your fingers or having them get stuck. The knife blade is big, nice and sharp right out of the box too. The description says it’s made of some sort of steel and while I don’t know much about that it hasn’t gone dull on me yet after cutting some rope and opening a bunch of boxes from the mail. The pliers feel strong in your hand when you’re gripping something tight and they don’t feel like they’re gonna snap or bend if you have to twist them a little bit. It’s got a bit of weight to it so you definitely know it’s in your pocket. It might be a little heavy for some people if you’re wearing shorts but for jeans or a camping pack it’s just right. It feels solid not like that cheap plastic junk you find at the gas station checkout. I’ve used it for a few things around the house and out in the yard and it’s been real handy. For the price I think it’s a way better deal than some of those big name brands you see at the store. If you’re looking for something to keep in the truck or take fishing this one does the job just fine. It also comes with a really nice thick sleeve so you can attach it to your clothes.

Solid build and actually useful tools for EMS

As a former Advanced EMT, I find the tool selection on this Pioneer model to be spot on. It is rare to find a multitool that includes a functional oxygen bottle wrench and heavy-duty shears rather than just a tiny pair of scissors. The stone-washed finish gives it a great rugged look that hides scratches, and the construction feels durable enough to take a beating. I use it for everything from quick repairs to opening packages, and the belt clip keeps it secure. If you work in EMS or just want a tactical-focused multitool that covers all the bases, this is an awesome piece of kit.

Incredible Quality That Makes For A Great Everyday Carry Item

I’ve owned quite a few multi-tools over the years, but the NEXTORCH MT10 genuinely stands out from the crowd. The first thing you notice is the solid, premium feel, the stainless-steel body feels rugged and well-balanced in the hand. Nothing rattles or feels flimsy. The main blade made from 50Cr15MoV steel is impressively sharp right out of the box and holds its edge extremely well even after repeated use. What really makes this tool shine is how thoughtfully designed every function is. The pliers have excellent grip strength and precision for both fine and heavy-duty work. The huge scissors are one of the best I’ve seen on any multitool, they actually cut cleanly through thick materials like paracord, plastic packaging, and even light fabric. I also love the saw and rescue hook, both of which are practical for camping and emergency situations. The 16 in 1 tool set covers almost everything I could need while camping, hiking, or working around the house, screwdrivers, wire cutters, can/bottle openers, a ruler, and even a nano ceramic glass breaker for emergencies. The replaceable wire cutters are a nice bonus, showing that NEXTORCH really thought about longevity and maintenance. I’ve taken this multitool on a few camping trips now, and it’s handled everything from food prep to gear repair with ease. It folds up compactly and fits nicely into my pocket or backpack pouch. The weight feels substantial but not too heavy, just right for the level of functionality it delivers. If I had to nitpick, it’s slightly bulkier than a minimalist EDC multitool, but honestly, that’s because it packs in so much capability. For anyone who values durability, versatility, and real-world performance, this is an excellent choice that gives a great bang for the buck. Overall, the NEXTORCH MT10 delivers everything you could ask for in a multitool it's solid, reliable, and ready for anything. Easily a five star product and one I’d recommend to anyone who camps, hikes, or just likes to be prepared.
