Features

  • ANSI A7 Elite 360° Protection Engineered for maximum threat environments, the ShieldEdge features an integrated 13-Gauge HPPE (High-Performance Polyethylene) continuous liner that wraps your entire hand—not just the palm. Certified to ANSI/ISEA 105:2024 Level A7 and EN388:2016+A1:2018 Level F, it creates a powerful "blade-sliding effect" to neutralize active knife slashes and jagged metal hazards during high-risk searches and apprehensions.
  • Full-Palm 5-Finger Touchscreen Responsiveness Zero operational delay when seconds count. Infused with ultra-conductive fibers across all ten fingers and the full palm, these gloves deliver a lightning-fast response time of ≤0.25 seconds. Flawlessly operate smartphones, MDTs, and tactical tablets (including complex swiping, pinching, and zooming) while keeping your hands fully armored.
  • Ergonomic Articulation & Flat-Palm Grip Experience zero-bulk flexibility with our advanced one-piece fingertip construction and ten-finger accordion stretch panels. Mapped with anatomical force-guiding grooves across the palm, the fabric disperses evenly under high pressure, preventing material bunching and guaranteeing a rock-solid, non-slip grip on duty gear under wet or oily conditions.
  • Premium Cowhide & Authentic Cordura® Built to endure brutal tactical shifts, the back of the chassis combines impact-resistant premium cowhide leather with 0.5mm ultra-thin, highly breathable ladder stretch mesh. The high-stress index finger sidewall is heavily reinforced with authentic Cordura® wear-resistant fabric, preventing premature blowout from constant trigger guard friction.
  • Field-Tested Tactical Details Optimized for professional use: a high-density microfiber sweat-wipe panel on the outer thumb allows instant clearing of sweat or defogging of tactical optics. The extended protective cuff boosts wrist slash-resistance and integrates a dual-locking elastic band with an oversized rubberized pull tab for split-second deployment.

Durable, long wearing

Nextorch are Hubby’s favorite brand of gloves. They’re solidly manufactured, fit tts, and always work beautifully. The gloves wear well and last longer than most others. This particular style is heavy duty and provides good protection for most outside jobs. The gloves are warm and comfortable and allow for full flexibility, but they’re not electronic friendly and you won’t be able to use a phone or tablet through them.

Cut resistance composite gloves

These cut-resistant composite gloves are a great combination of protection, comfort, and flexibility. They feel durable right out of the package while still allowing enough dexterity to handle tools, small parts, and detailed tasks without feeling bulky. The mixed-material construction provides a secure grip and holds up well during demanding jobs. The synthetic leather and cowhide reinforcements add durability in high-wear areas, while the stretchy fabric keeps the gloves comfortable for extended use. I also appreciated that they fit snugly without restricting hand movement. The cut-resistant design offers added confidence when working with sharp materials, making these gloves well suited for construction, warehouse work, automotive projects, landscaping, woodworking, or general DIY tasks. Even after several uses, the stitching and materials have remained in excellent condition.Overall, these are well-made work gloves that balance safety, comfort, and grip. If you’re looking for reliable cut-resistant gloves that provide solid hand protection without sacrificing flexibility, these are an excellent choice.

Tight fit

These are tight fitting gloves. I work in hvac and so I’m opening panes on units all the time. The dexterity on these is limited and it took a good day to start to break these in. For the price there are other option to choose from. I’ve spent less on better feeling gloves that last months.

Ridiculously comfortable and tough!

With an ANSI7 rating, these surpass any safety for cut resistance that I'll likely be in daily contact with. I do light to moderate yard work (property maintenance). Fencing, tree / limb maintenance. The typical home owner work. These are thin enough that they a provide superb flexibility AND breathability. While they don't do much for smashing damage, they did provide a good front for SOME poking (stray metal from fencing mesh), and definitely did their job for slashing (same metal types drug across the hand).I did test the touch screen capabilities and these worked without issue on my S25 Ultra (with a screen protector; which already diminishes touch sensitivity).I already love these gloves and if they hold up like some of the more simple cow hide gloves I typically use, these will be my go-to's.The large size fit my hands perfectly and while comfortable, I'm eager to see how they feel after a few weeks of break in.

Comfortable Work Gloves That Broke In Nicely

These fit better than I expected. They were a little snug around my palms at first, but that's fairly common with quality work gloves. After a little use they broke in nicely and now fit comfortably without feeling loose or bulky.I've mainly been using them for cleaning, lifting, and handling things I'd rather not touch directly, and they've done a great job. They offer good grip while still allowing enough dexterity to pick up tools and handle everyday tasks. The wrist closure keeps them secure, and they feel well constructed with quality stitching and materials. At around $46, they're definitely a premium pair of gloves, but the build quality reflects that. They feel durable enough for regular use, and so far I've had no issues with seams, loose stitching, or premature wear. If you're looking for a comfortable pair of protective gloves that balance grip, protection, and everyday usability, these have been a solid choice.

Nice Gloves!

I really like these gloves. They are robust, fit well, and feel well manufactured. They fit to size and provide protection and grip while maintaining a smaller and thinner profile than other gloves of this style. Very satisfied!

Doesn't work with touch screen

The gloves fit well, but they don't work with my touch screens. I have Nextorch high sensitivity gloves, which seem to be made of the same exterior material, and they work fine. The difference is that these are constructed with a knit kevlar-like inner layer. I think this anti-cut layer insulates the conductive outer layer from the hand. The 2XL fit is similar to my original market leader in XL. Everything fits fine for both, but there is about 1/4" extra material beyond my thumbs.

Heavy duty

These cut-resistant gloves are made from heavily durable synthetic and natural materials. Their coverage is better than most, and most of your hand, including the wrist, is protected. The gloves are the advertised size and fit me properly. These gloves are very thick, very durable, and highly recommended for shooting or gloves to be used with tools. I did not attempt to run a knife through them, but I can see how hard it would be to cut through them based on the construction. These will not be good on hot days and will be good for motorcycle riding, but not for bicycling. I can see these being used as duty gloves, so long as manual dexterity isn't a major requirement.Overall, I'm impressed with the quality of these gloves and highly recommend them for anyone who needs them in a professional environment. They are average for the price, but a good choice at this price point.

Rugged and flexible.

These gloves are pretty great. The ruggedness is surprisingly great while maintaining great dexterity. There are trade offs and not all are great but entirely acceptable. I'm in South Carolina and just looked at the thermometer and it's 98°f and they are not really hot. The day these came in we had a bad evening thunderstorm roll thru dropping a huge branch on my wife's new car. Annoyed I decided to turn the tall tree into a bush. I wore these gloves last night for 3 hours in the rain and today another 6. Dragging limbs, running the saw, rigging ropes, and once even unholstering my pistol to dispatch a snake that some how managed to find a resting spot between my feet as I stood amongst the branches. The dexterity level of these gloves are through the roof. When I grabbed the pistol my grip was as it should be and I had absolutely no issue finding the safety or trigger with the gloves on and was able to do what I had to. I have no issues when tieing paracord or 3/8 dockline with them on. They didn't seem to be hot as I imagined either but I think they would be sufficient for an early morning spring hunt to cut the chill. I followed the guide when sizing and reluctantly ordered the large despite normally wearing an xl with my work gloves. The guide was right. While snug to fit, I think that's the idea so you can maintain finger flexibility and usage. The trade off. While not limiting the usage of my hands or fingers and protecting my hands through hours of cutting and rope handling and piling branches then splitting some of it, the gloves seem to have two layers. The inner layer, when wet, can be quite a challenge to get on as it will stick to you fingers and pull out slightly when removing. When still wet they take a little work to get on. Not a big deal but a little annoyance. Also, I left these on my dash board to dry out in the sun today and after 7 hours of baking in the sun, they still damp when I went to put them on. I assume it's the cut resistant layer holding the moisture. Once on there are no issues, even when wet. The Velcro straps kept them snug and laid as they should so the Velcro didn't snag or come undone love I've experienced with other gloves. These are great gloves and I anticipate having them for quite a while. After using them to do the above I left them in the garage next to my saw dirty, wet, and balled up. I grabbed them today to carry to my mom's for more lumber jacking and surprisingly, I shook them off, slapped them on my leg a couple times, and they went on with the same pliable comfort they did when new. They have also dried out finally. This is exactly the type of craftsmanship and quality I hoped for and am beginning to expect from the same brand that made the best and brightest flash light I own.

Shielding Fingers From Utility Knives and Cardboard

These medium size gloves fit my hands perfectly and offer a lot of comfort during manual labor. My main task with them so far has been breaking down a massive pile of thick shipping boxes using a utility knife. The grip is secure when handling a slick handle, and the heavy reinforcement gives a strong sense of security against accidental blade slips or sharp edges. The dexterity is surprisingly good for a glove with this high level of cut protection. The touchscreen capability actually works with my phone, which adds excellent versatility when looking at a quick text or instruction guide mid task. The only downside is that the breathability is a bit limited because of the heavy protective lining, so hands can get warm after an extended session. Given the premium pricing, they are an investment, but the heavy duty construction and genuine leather palms provide clear value if you regularly deal with sharp blades or materials.

Comfortable, protective, durable

This is a great all-round glove. These feel comfortable and permit movement, yet provide above average protection against puncture They look really nice and the fit is adjustable at the wrist. I like the lining and the way it feels. My hand seems to slide right into these, but they don't feel like they are going to slide right back off. Each glove has a small carabiner loop, which is convenient for hanging them on a coat peg or similar. Their black color and nice styling means they can be worn with anything from a dress raincoat to a leather bomber jacket. While not marketed as cold weather gear, they are thick enough to provide decent cold weather protection. They are cut-rated at A-7, which is pretty serious. They do have a built-in cut resistant layer with full palm coverage. They also have full-palm conductive fiber, which permits using a smart phone or other touch screen device with them on. I tried using my smartphone with these gloves, and it was as if I didn't even have them on. Another feature is the one-piece finger design, which means you don't have a "horizontal" finger seam that is going to split or restrict your movement. They are a little pricey, but not exorbitantly so. You get what you pay for, and these are worth the price.

Good Quality, But A Bit Tight

The NEXTORCH EdgeGuard Gloves are a good quality glove, but fit a bit tight. Hopefully, they will stretch and break-in. Although somewhat higher priced, the NEXTORCH EdgeGuard Gloves a comfortable and feel extremely durable.

Slash resistance seems very good in my admittedly gentle testing

I think these are pretty solid gloves, although I feel like they run slightly on the small side so I’m still trying to break them in, wearing them when I don’t need to be. I don’t have a tactical or duty need for them, but I handle knives often and do a lot of sharpening so they do come in handy. They feel quite protective and I did do a little testing with an admittedly pretty dull blade; the puncture test put a small hole in the exterior but did not fully penetrate, while slashing really held up well with just superficial markings on the exterior of the palm. It should be noted I was not using much pressure as I’d rather not stab myself in the hand, but for my use case of preventing cutting myself while sharpening or handling the knives, it seemed like a fair test. The gloves seem neatly put together and have reinforced stitching in the right areas, I’d have to say the overall quality is very good and comparable to brands like MechanixWear or 5.11. I do find them on the bulky side though which makes doing things that require dexterity quite a bit more difficult, although I am improving the more I wear them and break them in. Overall, I am pleased with them and I’m not sure a glove exists that doesn’t reduce dexterity somewhat, especially a cut resistant gloves. They seem to be manufactured well, have a bit of style to them with the design, and they’re comfortable enough to wear despite being sort of in between sizes, and on the whole I would recommend them as they seem quite resilient and protective overall while being a fair value compared to other brands currently on the market.

Great work gloves because I work with metal

I got these gloves as an alternative to the gloves my job provides me, nothing wrong with the ones my job provides but these are just better. These things are very understated when you are able to experience all of the subtle features in action. The portion of extra grippy material on the palm helps with grabbing sheets of metal or freshly cut parts made of metal. I really like the way the areas of the knuckles are extra elastic because it makes them flex more naturally with my hand movements. Theres also a feature that I didnt realize they had at first, which is the little portion on the top side of area between my thumb and index finger. Theres a small piece of super absorbent microfiber there to wipe sweat away without having to grab a rag or taking your gloves off. Another great feature is the easy to use velcro strap for securing the gloves on my hands while still beimg very easy to slip on and off. These will get plenty of use from me

Comfortable cut-resistant gloves that do not feel bulky

The gloves arrived as a proper pair with a snug, well-finished knit, and the medium size matched the sizing chart on my hands. First impression is that they are thinner and more flexible than I expected for cut-resistant gloves, which usually feel stiff and clumsy. The cut-resistant material is woven right into the glove rather than being a bulky liner, so they move with your hands. There is a coated grip surface on the palm and fingers that gives real traction. In use they do the job of protecting your hands without killing dexterity. Handling sharp materials, blades, and rough edges, the cut resistance is reassuring, and I could still pick up small parts and work with tools because the gloves are thin enough to feel what you are doing. The coated palm grips wet and dry objects well, and the fit is snug enough that they do not slide around. For kitchen prep, workshop tasks, or any job around sharp edges, they hit a good balance of protection and feel. After a few weeks of use the knit has held its shape, the palm coating has not peeled or worn through, and the cut resistance is intact. They have washed clean and dried without stiffening up. For gloves that actually protect against cuts while letting you keep working with your hands, this is a comfortable, well-made pair at a fair price. The thin, flexible build is what makes them the kind you will actually wear rather than leave in a drawer.

Excellent cut resistant gloves

I work a lot with broken ceramics, and it's imperative that I have tight-fitting (so I can work as effectively with the pieces as possible) gloves that will keep my fingers and hands from being injured by sharp edges. I could possibly go up to an XL on these NEXTORCH gloves, as the Large ones, again, are a tight fit, but I'm sticking with the Large. I mention this to note that people sometimes wonder if the sizing is a bit small or a bit too loose, and these are right in the middle.

One of the most well fitted and comfortable pair of work quality gloves I have owned !

These gloves were delivered fitting true to size. The gloves are a snug fit in contrast to the very loose style of many work gloves. The material is extremely good-looking on and the texture aids in dexterity while providing a high degree of protection. I was able to manipulate all the tools and devices I operated on my first shift with these gloves and actually they are so outstanding i was compelled to write this positive review straight away. I so like the feel of these they have gone to the drivers door compartment of my Ford F 450 super duty and will get the primary glove position until further notice. The way these are sewn and assembled just feel great on the hand and I really really like these new gloves.

Comfortable and Easy to Wear!

These fit me great. They're comfortable and flexible. Decent breathability - not the best but far from the worst I've worn. Good dexterity and grip, though. I haven't tested the cut-resistance - I'd really prefer to avoid that, frankly - but it's a nice-to-have. I'll let you know how these hold up but first impressions are great.
