I have been collecting pens lately, so I can say this is an excellent one. For me, at least, it is the right size and the right weight--neither too short or too long, neither too fat or too thin. Weighs enough to feel like it's quality, but not to make it tiring to use. Quality is without fault, as far as I can tell. The Schmidt ink refill writes silky smoothly and leaves a nice line.Fidget spinner works without issue. One should know that it is on the smaller and lighter side.The pocket clip that doubles as the bolt action appear to be a beautiful milled piece of titanium. Its action is quite slick--in the good way.Everybody has different price sensitivity, but I felt this pen was well worth what I paid.
Took this on several business trips. Travels easily, looks professional in meetings, and serves as an emergency rescue glass breaker. Fantastic piece of gear.

I really like this pen. It feels great in my hand. Writes is very smooth. I'm kinda different when signing my signature, I sign with my hand about half way up the pen frame. Wow!The construction of the pen is top knock. It's solid and doesn't have any wiggle. Very tight.The pen deployment takes a bit of getting used to, but it's nothing to worry about.Over all, I'm happy with the pen and see it lasting a life time.

I've owned several tactical pens, but the NP12 stands out. The titanium finish is gorgeous, and it doesn't feel heavy in a shirt pocket. The ceramic glass-breaker tip is low-profile but lethal if needed.

Superb balance and feel. It doesn't look overly tactical or aggressive, which I prefer for office environments, but it's tough as steel.
It's a very nice pen. Industrial in looks and very comfortable to write with. The glass breakage end is nice and the action is great. Why 3 stars and not 5? That's because I think the price is high for what you get. As far as it being a "tactical" pen, I'm not sure what that means other than saying it. Would I use it as a defense weapon? It would really have to be a last resort situation.
