I got this device to use for my active shooter training instead of buying regular flashbangs in order to save some money. This device is bright but not loud. Not a compatible replacement for a flashbang. If you are looking for a sight incompacitating device then this will do fine.

For the price I’d hope it was a bit louder than what it is.
Good for a booby trap set up or perimeter alarm tho. I hope that I can find some more I uses for it, otherwise I have wasted my money

I really wanted this to be awesome. It works well if your holding it in your hand and activate it, but unfortunately if you toss it the sound is muffled and the light seems to be dimmer. I work for a police department and this will jot work for what its needed for.

This electric flash bang works as described. My dogs liked to chew on the furniture as soon as I'd leave the house and I'd see it on my security cameras. That is until I started quietly cracking the front door open and tossing 2 of these bad boys in there before breaching the room and unleashing hell on them. The light blinds them and the loud noise disorients them to the point that they don't know what direction I'm coming from or which way they can run for safety. Now on the rare occasion they get into the garbage or chew on a TV remote when they get hit with the flash bang they blindly run into walls and furniture and I don't even have to put a foot up their a.sses anymore because they beat themselves up. On a scare of 1-100 I'd give this product a 94. Will increase my rating to 100 if they release a version of this that explodes like one of those grenades with the rubber balls in it.

The device is loud and the light is bright if used in a dark and enclosed space. The only difference from an actual flash bang is lack of blast pressure. It is pricey but the quality is excellent and works as advertised. Time will tell on the battery life but I keep this next to my bed at home and on trips to buy me time to get my main defense tool.

Used it for a couple FoF scenario and it definitely distracts.Its not as loud as advertised imo.

I am a former US Army infantryman & big city private investigator. I have been using the ND30B for a couple months now, and I am highly impressed with it's capabilities as a distraction device.
I have shown it to colleagues on SWAT teams and with Special Operations backgrounds, and they too have been impressed, and have begun using these devices themselves.

The biggest upside to this device is the fact that it totally removes the risk of injury to innocents, which is a very real and tragic side effect of using pyrotechnic distraction devices.

I HIGHLY recommend this product.
