Love the size and weight. Not to big or heavy. Just right for tossing etc.
The strobe is bright but I feel it's not a daylight worthy bright. It is great at night and in dark places.
The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I wish it were twice as loud. Either way I am very happy to have it.

I love the device. Works perfectly as intended and is nice and bright and loud. The ONLY negative thing and it could be huge for some... if you get a magnet near the top, it'll set it off. I had a bodycamera magnet touch it and it went off in my car. Could have been bad if I was driving. Very odd little problem. I have to think it was an oversight/flaw in the design. Has to be a way to fix that.

The only things that I found fault in, is that when it's stored on my belt the device has gone off on 3 occasions with the pin still set, and it does not normally come with some kind of holster. When it comes to performance, I will definitely state that it works above my original thoughts and it will make training a more dynamic experience.

It doesn't give the concussion of a flashbang, but the lumin out out is intense. Was waiting on a bang but it give an alarm noise instead. Definitely looks sturdy. The agency I am working for, there swat team will be using them for there practice, instead of live flashbangs.

We have not yet deployed it outside of training. However, even when they trainees know it's coming, its highly effective as a distractionary device. No clean up, no damages, and easy to reactivate.

It definitely works! It might be some hearing loss from years of construction and shooting but I feel like the alarm could definitely be louder!

Excellent device. We use it for our intervention unit at the zoo. It's deployed in incidents where dangerous animals threaten to attack a zookeeper. However, the sound only reaches 100 dB instead of the advertised 130 dB. We tested this with two different measuring devices. Nevertheless, it's a very good device for our needs.

We’ve replaced traditional flashbangs in our training sessions with the ND30. No more one-time-use units. With thousands of activations per charge and adjustable delay, it’s an outstanding tool for scenario-based drills. Of course, there are still some differences between it and the real flashbang, mainly in terms of sound. The real flashbang will be stronger.

Wife said if I wake her up with it one more time I will be sleeping on the couch for a month. Very effective in waking up my son for work. its very very bright and extremely loud! Haven't used it for work yet, shown it to the guys.

This product works well for a temporary distraction device. The main reason for this device is to distract the target for a couple seconds and it does just that. Very bright even during the day. The audible siren is very effective indoors. I would advise wrapping the device with a small amount of electrical tape at the top and bottom for impact protection.

This is a great device. It definitely has real use applications for both training and real use applications. The ability to reuse it time and time again is great. Little risk of injury while using the device unless exposed to that sound all day. The light is definitely blinding, and you don’t want to not have your uncovered for a long period of time. I believe it does exactly what it is intended to do.

The Nextorch ND30 is hands down one of the best electronic distraction devices I’ve used. The form factor is perfect, it feels natural to deploy since it’s shaped like a traditional flashbang, and it fits perfectly in my vest pouch, so I don’t have to fumble for it. The 11,000-lumen strobe is blinding, and the 130dB siren is definitely loud, but what really sets it apart is the modulation, it’s not just noise, it’s disorienting. We tested it, and it absolutely distracted the assailant, giving us a clear tactical advantage.

I received the ND30 and immediately put it to work. I train law enforcement officers in building clearing tactics, so we started using it in the shoot houses. The unit has held up extremely well and the fact that it is usb-c rechargeable is awesome. The ND30 operates like a traditional distraction device so the tactical teams were familiar and could integrate it with no problem. This thing definitely worked as advertised in our force-on-force scenarios. Even with the suspect role players knowing we were using it; they could not overcome its effects. It is BRIGHT and LOUD and very overwhelming! This unit would be awesome for cost effective training or operational use where fire and explosion would be a risk like in use at schools, labs, homes with children and warrant service where fentanyl or other drugs are a factor.

Even on the highest setting this device can be easily defeated by simply cupping your hands around the device. The sound level is only at about 130 db, only slightly above hearing safe so cupping the bottom deteats the sound which only lasts about 10 seconds at most. At best I would only recommend this device maybe for training purposes but certainly not for use in a "live" real-world situation. Therefore it is really only a novelty device, and certainly NOT worth the $400. 00 pricetag !! VERY DISAPPOINTING !!

This is a great product. Very fast shipping. This device will work great with our in house training. I also could see where this could be used in place of the more traditional distracting device.
