The NEXTORCH P6A is the standard issued light of the Chinese police. It features a constant on/constant off, low/high power, and strobe feature switch system. The folks at NEXTORCH developed the P6A to meet the demanding needs and specifications of the Chinese Police. This light is easy to use. It has a robust feel and the quality easily recognized by the operator.
An efficiently designed parabolic reflector produces a long range targeting beam with optimal illumination bright and clear of imperfections. The duel output is rated at 2.5 Lumens on low power or 110 Lumens on high power. This light provides a very clean high quality light beam. The P6A is powered by one NT 18650 rechargeable lithium battery. The P6A battery can be easily charged while still installed in the body of the light. NEXTORCH indicates runtimes ranging from 180 minutes at high power to 100 hours at low power. I like the size and fit of this light. It is just 154 mm long with a bezel diameter of 34 mm. It is well balanced and weighs 155g without the battery.
The light is made from Aerospace grade aluminum 6061-T6 with a hard-anodized finish. The P6A features a non-slip knurled comfort grip, an anti-roll crenalated bezel and sports an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with scratch-resistant coating. It has O-Ring sealed construction which makes the P6A waterproof. The Cree Q5 LED provides a very desirable clean white light that is impervious to shock.
These small but very powerful lights are very unobtrusive and are more than capable of the duties and tasks faced by law enforcement, security or any armed professional.
